Heat Deflection Temperature (Method B)
Purpose: This test method measures the heat deflection temperature at fixed stress/load.
Sample: ISO bars or 80 x 10 x 4 mm
Price & Delivery: Contact us for a quote.
Basic Description: The bars are placed under the deflection machine with 0.45 or 1.80 MPa load (66 or 266 psi). The samples are lowered into a silicone bath and tested at a controlled ramp rate until the end deflection is occurred. The temperature is recorded.
